Between August 2005 and December 2007, the whole staff of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases department (SMIT) from the CHI (Intermunicipal Hospital Complex) of Poissy / Saint-Germain-en-Laye was actively involved in the development of Ulna's system, under the supervision of Dr J.C. SEGUIER, Person in charge of the hygiene department and Head of the CLIN, and Dr Yves WEKLER, head of the SMIT department. |

It's only "in situ" and beside its most demanding users that a concept can turn into a work tool. |

The installation inside the SMIT allows us to optimize Ulna handle's ergonomics and to find new answers to maximize the comfort of use (height adjustment and removal of the door's bolt). Thanks to staff survey about satisfaction, we have been able to answer all of their demands and to notice a rate of correct use higher than 80%. |
